Padding Falls Apart; Waste of Money
I bought two pairs of these for my high school football player. With only a few wears, the padding inside the shorts started to crumble. The hectagon-shaped padding became unglued and no longer provided protection that it promises. Do not buy these.

Broke after 1 month
My son played a few games and last week (approximately just over 30 days from delivery), the product broke and we had to purchase a new one at our local store due to a pending game. Sad. I would not recommend. My son is a Quarterback so if that tells you anything about the “wear and tear.”

Multifunctional
The makers of this product really missed out on a few markets with it. While they advertise it for sports or paintball, it should be directed towards motorcyclists, military and folks who live in areas were slipping on ice is a major hazard. The pads are great for mobility and thick enough to soften a fall from a bike when worn under other protective gear. The pads are also in the perfect place to be worn under body armor to provide cushion for pack straps and stop bruises from gear hitting you in the legs as you move.
I’ve worn these while out shoveling my walk just in case I slip as it is a major issue when shoving to make sure you do slip and fall, you won’t have to go to the hospital for a broken tail bone.

Well-made, affordable girdle
Let’s face it, football girdles from some of the ‘big’ name brands are ridiculously expensive. Even the ‘mid grade’ brands can be a bit overpriced. As a coach and football parent, I’ve shopped for a lot of these things and this girdle from TUOY is pretty much on par with those. It has pads in all the necessary places, and wearing a girdle under padded pants is MUCH better than trying to insert pads into pants with snaps and whatnot. Pants with integrated pads are nice, but those can be hard to match up for game day.
Overall these were nice and probably fit well. However, contrary to someone who said they fit small, I got my son a size large. According to the details, “”L=29-31inch””. Well, I can assure you that he’s right at a size 29 (pushing 30) waist and these were big on him. They fit, but they did not compress, which is important. So if your player is toward the bottom or top end of the spectrum (28/29, 31/32), you might consider buying a size up. As for my son… they might just have to wait until his sophomore or junior year, but I’m sure they’ll fit well eventually.
